Please help us with your solid waste and recyclable collections by following the guidelines listed below:
Strong winds, neighborhood pets and scavengers will sometimes scatter trash if is not prepared properly by each household. To prevent trash from being scattered, we recommend you tie off each bag securely, not let pets run loose, double wrap food scraps to prevent odors from attracting animals, and place curbside only on collection day. The City requests that receptacles not be left out at curb on days other than their designated collection day.
Your trash and recyclables must be placed at the curb in front of your home by 7:00 AM on your collection day. Curbside means your container can be reached while standing on the edge of the street.
For ease of correct identification of pickup please leave at least 10’ of space between trash and recyclables.
Every effort should be made to keep all trash and recyclables dry.
